Theres the collectors aspect of wanting something pristine and perfect in your collection (though, as you said with Risk Legacy, theres something special about a copy that is uniquely yours too). Theyre 8757, though its not a sleeve-friendly game because of certain legacy stuff. On a side note Ive been designing a game that is worker placement. The legacy part was fun and its always a treat to unlock some new content but I love the pace of the final game. I really love your work done on this game, but I also loooove the art of it. Then they would stay put when you put the game away, but if a group stops playing after 2 or 3 games the board could be reset. As a result, my wife and I created some additional material for use once the campaign is over and to ensure that the game has some degree of the discovery that came with the campaign game. That would be great, but we havent even finished typesetting the game yet. I truly think I have built my charter a bit inefficiently. I realize theres already a lot of content but I could see more being done with the story and buildings. I went for getting loads of advancement cards, treasures in particular. This doesnt make the game unplayable because with some trial and error, you can make sense of everything, but it does make it highly inaccessible for new players. So how will you make sure that it isnt the same boring engine building every session. My group is three games through the campaign so far and its been an absolute blast.
